This supplement to Part 2 of the British records on the Atlantic World, 1700-1900 series includes three volumes of copies of the most important letters received [i.e. those read before the Society] and sent. These reveal the on-going, albeit much reduced, extent of the SPG's activities in the United States during the latter half of the nineteenth, and into the early twentieth century. Also included is a single-box from the C series with 24 folders comprising chiefly unbound reports, correspondence and journals from the mid-19th century re SPG's chaplains ministering to emigrants to North America & Australia in Liverpool & other English ports involved in transatlantic emigration.
